HI-Waikiki makes every effort to provide a safe environment for our guests.

• Only registered guests are allowed in the facility
  
  
• There are small lockers to hold your valuables
  - Bring your own padlock
  
  
• The front gate is locked at 9pm every night
  
  
• Guests are provided with a key and have 24 hour access

Our hostel makes every effort to protect your belongings but travelers need to be smart. Don't leave valuables lying around and don't let strangers into the facility or rooms. The hostel is not responsible for anything that does get lost, stolen or damaged.

Luggage Storage


Available for 3 specific situations:

1. Check-out is at 11am, but if you are flying away in the afternoon, you can keep your bag in the office for free until 1pm at the latest.
   
   
2. If you are leaving in the evening, there is $5 day fee. This allows you to leave your luggage in the storage closet, use the kitchen and lounge for the day, and take a shower before leaving.
   
   
3. If you are traveling to the North Shore or to the Neighbor Islands, you can store your bags for free (for up to 2 weeks), provided you make a pre-paid non-refundable deposit for at least one night accommodation.
